Most Common Birthdays in the World
Birthdays in September are the most prevalent. September has been the most popular birthday month in the United States over the preceding two decades, with February being the least popular. Harvard University researchers reviewed birth rates from 1973 to 1999 and determined that many individuals are born on September 16. According to a more recent research by Matt Stiles, the most prevalent birthday date is September 9. Stiles developed a visualization using birth data from 1994 to 2014. The data was obtained from the National Centre for Health Statistics. The statistics show that nine of the top 10 birthdays fall in September, meaning that they were born between December 17 and December 28.

September 9
From 1994 to 2004, September 9 was the most common birth day on the planet, with an average of 12,301 births in the United States alone. People born on September 9th are more likely to be conceived on December 17th of the previous year.

The second most common birthdate is September 19. On September 19, the United States had an average of 12,229 births from 1994 to 2014. Everyone born on September 19 was theoretically conceived on December 27, the day after Boxing Day the previous year. People born on the world’s two most common birthdays were conceived during the December holiday season.
September 12
The 12th of September is the world’s third most common birthday date. What Are The Least Popular Birthday Dates?
The winter months of January, February, and December in the United States are the least probable for mothers to give birth. Because of the cold temperature, most parents fear giving birth in the winter. The least common birthday dates in the world are January 1, December 24, and December 25. Between 1994 and 2014, around 6,574 children were born on Christmas Day after being conceived on April 3. On January 1, 7,792 children are born that were conceived on April 10. Birthdays are also infrequent in the days preceding and following Thanksgiving.
