Neymar fulfils Netflix ‘dream’ as Barca say transfer deal ‘closer’

PARIS: Neymar said he had “realized” his dream with a cameo on his favorite Netflix show, since later on Tuesday there was a new twist in the plot in his Paris transfer drama Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian striker is eager to return to Spain with Barcelona and Real Madrid trying to close an agreement before the European transfer window closes next Monday.

“We continue the negotiations, we are closer to an agreement,” Barça director Javier Bordas told reporters at the Barcelona airport after returning from a meeting with the PSG in the French capital.

But he added: “So far there is no deal.”

According to the French newspaper Le Parisien, the former Neymar club increased its offer to 170 million euros, payable in two installments, with possible players attached.

Barça sold the 27-year-old to PSG in 2017 for a world record of 222 million euros.

Previously, Neymar tweeted his joy by appearing in Netflix’s criminal drama The House of Paper (Money Heist).
