What is cholesterol

Actually, cholesterol is a substance like wax or wax that makes liver. It is necessary for the formation of cells and hormones in our body. Apart from this, it also helps in making bile juice. Cholesterol is of two types – LDL (low density lipoprotein) and HDL (high density lipoprotein) cholesterol. LDL is also known as bad cholesterol. LDL carries cholesterol from the liver to the cells. If its quantity becomes too much, it gets harmful to the cells and makes the arteries narrower. Due to this, the circulation of blood slows down or stops due to which the body parts are affected. LDL in the blood is 70 percent on average. Which is the biggest cause of coronary heart diseases and stroke. HDL is considered good (good) cholesterol. Good cholesterol prevents coronary heart disease and stroke. HDL carries cholesterol from the cells back into the liver. It either breaks in the liver or is thrown out of the body with waste materials.
