Candesartan Oral : Uses, Side Effects, Interactions
Candesartan is used to treat hypertension. Reducing hypertension helps prevent stroke, heart attack and kidney problems. Candesartan is related to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). It works by relaxing the blood vessels so that the blood flows more easily.
Candesartan is also used to treat heart failure.
Due to the increased risk of side effects, this drug is not recommended for use in children under 1 year.
How To Use Candesartan

Directly take Candesartan by mouth or by your doctor at the meal, usually daily or twice daily.
Dosage is based on your medical condition and treatment response. In children, dosage is also based on weight.
