What are the symptoms of Fifth Disease?
Common symptoms of Fifth Disease include mild fever, fatigue, body rashes etc. These rashes are predominantly on the cheeks and this is why it is also called slapped scream syndrome. Apart from this, the risk of this infection is most in the cold season or in the spring. Once the rashes occur, the children are no longer contagious, so they reduce the risk of spreading the infection. The symptoms of this disease are as follows-
All day fatigue
Headache
Low-Grade Fever
Frequent runny nose
Nausea
Sore throat and pain
These symptoms usually begin within 4 to 10 days of exposure to the virus and often become severe.
