As a Brand Manager you will have full responsibility and accountability for managing sales, profitability, and customer experience in accordance with overall business objectives and assisting in defining a brand portfolio strategy for the Brand category.
Brand Manager Strategic responsibilities:
Support in the development and implementation of a commercial and brand portfolio strategy in line with the general F&B Strategy, including that limited to products, people, marketing and expansions.
Set the Brand’s monthly and annual sales and net profit targets in line with F & B’s overall goals.
Develop the budget in coordination with the Committee and the respective functional heads; consolidate and refine the general budget of the Brand
Monitor and control expenses according to budget, ensuring that cost-to-income ratios are managed at all times.
Brand Manager Functional Responsibilities:
Review and establish brand-specific structure along with workflows and responsibilities for work in the office and on the front of the office (i.e. purchasing, inventory, kitchen, sales and operations) to meet the efficiencies of processes and costs, constant quality and superior customer service.
Report the business performance of the F&B Division brand portfolios.
Monitor that the highest levels of quality are applied to the look and feel of restaurants and that it is in line with the Brand’s requirements and guidelines, and that the Operations Standard for Front of House and Back of functions House is kept at all times.
Oversee that the highest levels of customer service are implemented in the business with continued compliance with internal and Director requirements.
Monitor the appropriate level of security and stock control to minimize shrinkage, food waste, and theft.
Direct the highest level of professionalism in each of the restaurants by overseeing staff recruitment, training, management and professional development.
Make regular restaurant visits for internal audits for Front of House and Heart of House to ensure the highest levels of performance, administration, staffing levels, customer service, store administration, cleanliness and overall appearance in line with the daily , monthly and weekly routines.
Monitor underperforming restaurants and brands to drive fast, sustained, and effective change in performance.
Oversee the menu engineering of different points of sale to ensure that it is in line with brand positioning, market trend requirements and attracts and maintains customers.
Monitor compliance with local laws related to the hotel / food industry and ensure that all points of sale comply with and operate with the strict legal requirements and established health, hygiene and safety policies and standards.
Logistics and Purchase Coordination
Ensure an optimal purchasing and supply chain process for visibility of inventory levels, shipments, and accurate and timely distribution of goods and products to restaurants.
Participate in the development of marketing plans and campaigns for the Brand in line with the Food and Beverage Division in general to support the Group’s business objectives, Marketing and Communications principles, and concept requirements.
Ensure floor-to-floor activation of marketing plans, including but not limited to staff training, availability of all warranties, activation of social media in alignment with Marketing and CRM teams to provide a Marketing Experience. Perfect client for promotions or campaigns.
Ensure the successful achievement of specific marketing campaign results together with the marketing team
Train and guide teams to reach their optimum potential, produce the highest production standards
Participate in evaluating the performance of direct team members and review the indirect scope of control to ensure efficiency and consistency in performance evaluation.
Train customer service staff in the GUIDE for an enhanced guest experience along with the importance of the marketing and loyalty program, as well as CARES to increase revenue potential.
Provide a leadership path for teams to escalate their concerns to allow for their prompt resolution.
Communicate any organizational change and mitigate risks through effective change management.
